Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the medical management and supportive care of our encephalopathic pediatric patients
2. Discuss several methods of medically managing increased ICP in the PICU
3. Cite the importance of early antibiotic initiation and key nursing implications for treatment of meningitis in the PICU
4. Recall escalation of medications for status epilepticus
