Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles and responsibilities of the nurse when assisting in RSI
2. Discuss the pediatric sedation algorithm, recommended medications, weaning guidelines and delirium
3. Demonstrate competency in standard ETT taping techniques
4. Recall commonly used ventilator settings in the pediatric population
