Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Understand definition of an “austere and/or disaster” environment
2. Review Concept of Operations (“ConOps”) for specific clinical teams developed to respond in these environments
3. Understand challenges/threats to clinical and team function in austere and disaster environments
4. Review clinical “head to toe” systems for current care/techniques and advances for trauma/emergency care in austere/disaster conditions
