Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Apply understanding of the science underlying obesity to the comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with this disorder
2. Incorporate strategies for educating patients about obesity and its treatment into their practice
3. Assess patients for their need and appropriateness for medical and surgical anti-obesity therapy and pursue that therapy as appropriate
