Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Characterize the hemodynamic profile of a patient admitted with acute decompensated heart failure.
2. Describe treatment options for a patient with advanced heart failure on basis of hemodynamic profile.
3. List components of guideline directed medical therapy for patients upon discharge.
