Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Assess the patients cardiovascular status in an organized and comprehensive manner.
2. Analyze heart sounds.
3. Distinguish the various components of those sounds as they relate to a cardiac assessment.
4. Assess patient's respiratory status in an organized and comprehensive manner.
5. Demonstrate the use of various oxygen devices.
