Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Describe the roles of the members of the healthcare team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
2. Recognize cardiac structural and rhythm abnormalities associated with congenital heart block on ante-natal ultrasound surveillance.
3. Understand the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of congenital complete heart block.
4. Synthesize a comprehensive fetal surveillance plan including multiple provider team, frequent ultrasound monitoring, and access to appropriate facilities for care of infant at and following time of delivery.
