Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1.Explain the indications, contraindications, pitfalls of the placement of intravenous catheters using ultrasound
2. Describe the steps required to set up and clean the ultrasound
3. Describe how to place a peripheral IV under ultrasound guidance and have the necessary understanding to place a catheter using the ultrasound during a live skills session
