Objectives

1. Identify with characters in the stories as you would with patients and colleagues to help you better understand their journeys and perspectives.
2. Reflect on how your reactions to stories and situations are based on personal experiences and may not be universally shared.
3. Discuss difficult circumstances such as pain, suffering, and justice to help make empathic connections with others.
