Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe a non-formulary request for denosumab in a patient with hypercalcemia of malignancy
  2. Review the pathophysiology, signs/symptoms, and treatment options for hypercalcemia
  3. Evaluate existing literature for the use of denosumab in hypercalcemia of malignancy
