Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Identify a patient case, or potential case, of toxic alcohol ingestion.
  2. Describe the pharmacokinetics (PK) of toxic alcohol ingestion and how the PK affects patient monitoring and management.
  3. Design an appropriate treatment regimen for a patient with toxic alcohol ingestion.
