The Emergency Response in the Hospital Setting series provides novice nurses with limited emergency response experience the education needed to apply best practice for responding to rapidly decompensating patients. Provides signs and symptoms of decompensation as well as education on available interventions prior to emergency response. Demonstrate proper process for Code Blue/RRT activation, CPR, utilizing AED and preparing equipment for emergent intubation.
