Hospitalists require ongoing education in Practice Guidelines and advances in knowledge. This is a regularly Scheduled meeting within Hospital Medicine where speakers are brought (sometimes from within Hospital Medicine and sometimes from other departments within Baystate) in order for group practice and to further educate our Hospitalists on topics/specialties that they feel like they would like additional knowledge on.

In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
