Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe neurobiological and psychosocial mechanisms by which psilocybin may function as a therapeutic for depressive disorders.
2. Identify the rationale and methods for incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and related therapies into psychedelic treatment models.
3. Evaluate study data on the treatment model presented (psilocybin-assisted therapy using ACT.
4. Recognize methodological and ethical challenges facing the field of psychedelic medicine.
