Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1| Perform the setting up and demonstration of using the Lucas compression device

2| Perform the set up of an arterial line and discuss how to zero out the arterial line and document it.

3| Describe the set up of a central venous pressure line and where to document values in CIS.

4| Describe the meaning of values on the monitor for the vent. 

5| Describe the process for sedation vacation, and spontaneous breathing trial.

6| Perform the set up of a POSEY alarm for high falls risk patients.

7| Describe the new process for the inpatient stroke protocol.

8| Describe how to request a neurology consult and use the teleneuro monitoring system.

9| Describe the process for TNK administration and monitoring.
