Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Identify components of the CNS.
2. Identify/verbalize the components of a neurologic exam.
3. Demonstrate how to enter a neurologic exam into the electronic medical record.
4. Explain the difference between a ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
5. Define conversion stroke.
6. Verbalize interventions and escalating for neurologic changes or a confirmed stroke.
7. State the purpose of the NIHSS and why it is used.
8. Name 5 disciplines of the health care interdisciplinary team that is able to assist the post CVA patient
