Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Define systems of oppression, intersectionality, microaggressions, implicit bias, and racial trauma.
2. Recognize racial microaggressions, their historical context, and their impact on the learner or healthcare provider.
3. Explore why the initial response to these microaggressions is so difficult.
4. Introduce a framework for intervention when you are a bystander.
