Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
- Discuss current pharmacologic agents used in cardiac arrest and the utility of each agent in the Adult Basic and Advanced Life Support 2020 Guidelines
- Understand the mechanism of proposed benefit of calcium chloride in cardiac arrest
- Analyze the COCA trial and it’s results to determine the role of calcium chloride in achieving return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest
