• Review current guideline recommendations and primary literature on the duration of antibiotic therapy in patients with community - acquired pneumonia (CAP)
• Analyze a recent clinical trial evaluating shorter course antibiotic therapy in non-critically ill patients with CAP
• Determine the clinical implications this trial has in current practice
