Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Understand the pathophysiology of the different types of heart failure including decompensated heart failure
  • Briefly review the guideline recommended pharmacologic treatments for HFrEF and DHF
  • Analyze the VICTORIA trial in order to determine the role of vericiguat in the treatment of HFrEF
