Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

Describe the pathophysiology of coagulopathy in patients with liver disease
Compare the risk of thrombotic events with risk of hemorrhage in patients with coagulopathy due to liver disease
Evaluate clinical evidence to determine the role of 4-factor prothrombin complex concentrate (4-factor PCC) in reversing coagulopathy
Create a therapeutic plan for the management and monitoring of patients with coagulopathy due to liver disease
