Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Recognize features of the clinical presentation of respiratory distress in an infant that differentiate it from the clinical presentation and course of bronchiolitis.
2.  Develop a differential diagnosis for respiratory failure in an infant.
3.  Recognize a rare case of drug induced hemolytic anemia resulting in multiorgan dysfunction syndrome.
4.  Outline management options for drug induced hemolytic anemia with resultant organ dysfunction.
