Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Discuss and apply the principles of CARe to pediatric events.
2. Identify risks and measure, monitor and come up with treatment method which will mitigate or eliminate risk in the pediatric care setting.
3. Implement a process for making and taking action on decisions that will minimize the adverse effects of risk on the practice or the provider.
4. Apply policies and procedures that are focused on patient safety to reduce errors and adverse outcomes and prevent legal exposure.
