Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Describe anatomical structures that comprise the vestibular system and understand their functions
2|Discuss the types of dizziness and differentiate between central vs. peripheral pathology.
3|Analyze the subjective complaints of a patient to determine the appropriate tests and measures.
4|Integrate appropriate tests for the posterior semicircular canal BPPV and interpret the findings appropriately
5|Identify the appropriate canalith repositing maneuver for a patient and administer it properly.
6|Identify red flags/yellow flags and distinguish when a referral to another healthcare provider is warranted
7|Discuss the function of vestibulo-ocular reflex
8|List and administer a Dynamic Visual Acuity Test and analyze the findings
9|List and Administer VOR exercises and understand when to progress/regress exercises
