Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Present a patient case demonstrating the effects, signs and symptoms of HELLP syndrome. 
  2. Discuss the etiology, complications and management of HELLP syndrome. 
  3. Explain the impact of HELLP and its treatments on initial newborn hospital course
  4. Describe the long-term outcomes of infants born to mothers with HELLP.
