Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
- Define most common types of amyloidosis with cardiac involvement
- Identify evolving epidemiology of cardiac amyloidosis
- Recognize “red flags” during history, physical and routine cardiac testing suggestive of cardiac amyloidosis
- Summarize testing required for non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis
- Perform and interpret selective screening algorithm for cardiac amyloidosis in high-risk cohorts (ie, aortic stenosis, HFpEF, etc)
- Recognize existing and emerging treatments for cardiac amyloidosis
