Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Define most common types of amyloidosis with cardiac involvement​
  2. Identify evolving epidemiology of cardiac amyloidosis​
  3. Recognize “red flags” during history, physical and routine cardiac testing suggestive of cardiac amyloidosis​
  4. Summarize testing required for non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis​
  5. Perform and interpret selective screening algorithm for cardiac amyloidosis in high-risk cohorts (ie, aortic stenosis, HFpEF, etc)​
  6. Recognize existing and emerging treatments for cardiac amyloidosis
