Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Discuss the critical role of inflammation in the development of atherosclerosis
  2. Characterize the strength of the data for the treatment of vascular disease with anti-inflammatory medications
  3. Teach clinicians how and when to use colchicine for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease
