Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Describe normal age-related gait changes vs abnormal gait patterns in elderly patients
2|Identify what is needed for independent ambulation and the need for physical therapy intervention
3|Assess the different assistive devices available for patients with gait deviations and mobility issues
