Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Recognize the negative personal and public health effects of penicillin allergy labelling, as well as the public health challenges of formal allergy evaluation.
2| Perform appropriate documentation of adverse effects in the patient chart using structured data.
3| Identify patients who may be safely delabelled or undergo direct drug challenged without the need for allergy testing.
