Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Describe the current landscape of substance use disorder care in hospital settings, including prevalence rates and gaps between ideal and actual care delivery
2| Analyze the barriers preventing effective integration of addiction treatment within hospital-based care
3| Evaluate evidence-based models for integrating addiction care into hospital settings, with particular emphasis on the Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Team
4| Discuss strategies to overcome challenges in implementing comprehensive SUD care, including addressing workforce, incentives, and healthcare disparities.
