Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Recall  the historical trajectory of psychedelics in Western medicine, identifying key milestones and influential figures.
2| Summarize the proposed mechanisms of action underlying psychedelics, demonstrating an understanding of their pharmacological and neurobiological effects.
3|Name the challenges associated with implementing psychedelic-assisted therapy within existing psychiatric structures, considering legal, ethical, and practical considerations.
