Different types of dogs that support our patients within the hospital and the goals associated with their interactions.
Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Differentiate between a facility dog, a therapy dog, a bonded dog, and a personal service dog.
2|Determine which type of dog is appropriate for your patient and their needs.
3|Consult or schedule a visit with the appropriate dog.
