Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Identify risk factors and protective factors for the development of disordered eating behaviors in LGBTQIA+ youth
2. Discuss the relationship between gender and sexuality and the types of disordered eating behaviors LGBTQIA+ youth may present with
3. Recognize the risk conferred for LGBTQIA+ youth with co morbid disordered eating behaviors
4. Summarize effect treatment approaches for youth presenting with disordered eating behaviors
