Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Identify 3 common barriers transgender and nonbinary people experience when accessing healthcare and list 2 consequences of those barriers
2|Identify 2 potential workplace challenges for transgender and nonbinary nurses
3|List 2 areas of intervention that could improve the healthcare environment to better support transgender and nonbinary patients and nurses.
