Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Discuss the clinical application of epidural anesthesia.
2|Identify the pioneers and their contributions to the field of neuraxial anesthesia.
3|Identify new techniques for efficiently performing epidural anesthesia.
4|Recognize the role for ultrasound guidance to enhance both anatomic identification and clinical performance of epidural anesthesia.
