Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Summarize the Cardiac Surgery Advanced Life Support protocol.
2|Compare and contrast CALS with ACLS.
3|Explain why CALS deviates from ACLS for improved patient outcomes.
4|Develop ways to assist directly in CALS or during Airways/Codes as members of an Anesthesia Airway Team.
