Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1| Review normal bone metabolism in adolescents
2| Identify areas of concern for use of hormonal medication in young patients, with respect to bone accrual and future fracture risk
3| Apply findings to clinical practice: aid in individualizing management for adolescent patients
