This two hour course will focus on pediatric cardiac testing procedures performed in the ambulatory setting for diagnostic and clinical purposes. There will be an overview of cardiac testing procedures with emphasis on the roles of MA’s and nurses, differential diagnoses and care of these patients. There will be an interactive component to this presentation where testing equipment will be utilized and attendees will have the opportunity to use. Leaners will be able to incorporate these practices into their professional practice. This education will include both lecture and hands-on education.  

Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Define multiple forms of testing used in Cardiology.
2| Differentiate the differences between cardiac related testing.
3| Identify different types of testing in Cardiology.
4| Discuss potential diagnoses discovered through cardiac testing.
