Description: This session will describe the signs, symptoms, diagnosis, progression and treatment of early onset dementia as well as discuss compassionate approached to caring for individuals with dementia.

Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Identify signs and symptoms of early onset dementia and managing disease process.
2|Discuss habiitation, medication management and non-pharmacological approaches to caring for individuals living with dementia
3|Review community supports for people with dementia.
