Description: There is not a uniform understanding of what CMO means in practice from practitioner to partitions and unit to unit. This session will discuss the current guidelines for CMO, what this designation means for visitation and other spiritual and emotional considerations for families as well as how do we provide compassionate care to patients and families who have been designated for comfort measures only (CMO) care. |
