Series Overview

Delirium is a common yet often underrecognized condition that significantly impacts patient outcomes. This course provides healthcare professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively prevent, identify, and manage delirium across care settings. Participants will learn the importance of routine screening, gain a brief overview of the Confusion Assessment Method (CAM), and explore evidence-based interventions for creating individualized care plans. The course also examines the consequences of untreated delirium, emphasizing its effect on recovery, length of stay, and overall patient safety.
