Join us as we recognize Dr. Martin I. Broder for his accomplishments! This specially named grand rounds lecture was established in 1993 in honor of Dr. Martin I. Broder and recognizes his contributions to medical education, humanism, and professionalism. Join us as we recognize Dr. Broder’s outstanding service with Baystate Health and commitment to the transformative power of knowledge, continuing education, and conversation.

 

Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Describe the science behind play, engagement, and effective adult learning in clinical education.
 
2| Identify active-learning strategies to improve learner engagement and relevance in pediatric education settings.
