Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Define what moral injury is and the stages of moral insult that go from potentially morally injurious event to true moral injury.
2. Recognize and identify the role of the environment, or the system, not just the individual, that contributes to moral injury in health care
3. Consider resources or actions to change the moral injury trajectory in the health care setting
