Jodi Kashouh, MS, RN-BC, CNL

Jodi Kashouh, MS, RN-BC, CNL is an accomplished healthcare professional with diverse clinical and leadership experiences. For the last 13 years she has practiced as a Healthcare Quality Specialist at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA working to improve the overall quality of care that Baystate Health delivers to patients and their families. She participates in regulatory reporting of quality metrics. Jodi serves as liaison to physicians and nurses for quality initiatives and identifies and develops opportunities around shared learning. One of her main areas of interest is leading the medical center’s Western Massachusetts Transition in Care Cross Continuum group whose goal is to improve team communication within Baystate and with post-acute providers, thereby improving patient quality of care and preventing unnecessary re-hospitalizations. During her tenure at Baystate Health she has been a leader, innovator and mentor. Prior to assuming this position approximately 13 years ago, Jodi had more than 13 years of experience working on the medical center’s Cardiac Telemetry and Heart Failure units in lead positions. She then became the first Heart Failure Clinical Coordinator in the organization and paved the way for evidenced-based heart failure care across the continuum. Jodi is a graduate of Salem State University in Massachusetts and received her master’s degree as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) with honors from the University of Massachusetts. Outside of work Jodi is equally as busy as the mother of two grown children and dedicates time giving back to the community. In her spare time she enjoys educating the community on the importance of having a healthcare proxy, as well as crafting, reading, and gardening.
