Objectives
  1. Discuss precautions with spinal anesthesia for cesarean section after a failed epidural.
  2. Describe recognition and management of a high spinal and/or total spinal.
  3. Discuss factors that influence intrathecal spread of local anesthesia.
  4. Describe the use of spinal anesthesia in infants.
  5. Discuss the use of spinal anesthesia for orthopedic surgeries.
