Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Discuss the physiology of elevated ICP and herniation.
2.Discuss the initial assessment and management of suspected elevated ICP.
3.Discuss invasive ICP monitoring.
4. Identify pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic methods for ongoing management of a patient with elevated ICP.
