Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1| Describe the basic principles of electrical impedance tomography (EIT) and explain how this technology measures and visualizes regional changes in lung ventilation and perfusion.
2| Describe clinical applications of EIT in pediatric respiratory care, including ventilated and non-invasively supported patients.
3| Interpret pediatric EIT data to assess ventilation and perfusion, with insights from recent research in bronchiolitis
