Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe the impact of interprofessional education on resident satisfaction with Morning Report
  2. Identify the root causes of low resident satisfaction identified through our needs assessment
  3. Summarize the design and implementation of a structured IPE intervention
  4. Interpret pre- and post-intervention survey data to evaluate project outcomes
  5. Discuss potential future directions for continuing to improve Morning Report
  6. Review social determinants of health
  7. Explain the importance of social need screening in the NICU setting
  8. Discuss research project aim, methods and results
  9. Recognize gender-based disparities and workflow barriers that contribute to under-screening for chlamydia and gonorrhea among adolescents in primary care settings
  10. Describe how multidisciplinary quality improvement strategies, including EMR-based interventions and standardized clinic workflows, can improve equitable STI screening rates among adolescents and young adults
  11. Implement evidence-based approaches to increase routine adolescent STI screening and reduce disparities in outpatient clinical practice
  12. Explain how the absence of direct observation of resident handoff limits IPASS adherence and feedback opportunities
  13. Explain how large language models produce structured IPASS output from spoken language and identify hallucination as the principal failure mode
  14. Assess the per-element performance of an AI-based IPASS classifier and its utility for educational feedback
