Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. The learner will be able to describe the existing gaps in transgender medical education and to acknowledge challenges faced with curriculum development
2. The learner will be able recognize the existing challenges and gaps with transgender health research and acknowledge how a repository can open opportunities for research
3. The learner will be able to describe the existing literature on how gender affirming hormone therapy affects cardiovascular risk in transgender individuals and a current research project addressing this in adolescent patients seen at our Gender Clinic
