The Health Sciences Library supports the continuing education of our physician, residents, nurses, students, staff and guest through a series of reading and discussion sessions.  The purpose of this program is to explore the human condition and promote a deeper understanding of each other through the reading and discussion of poems and short stories with a diverse spectrum of Baystate colleagues.  By sharing our persoanl reflections and interpretations, we enhance our communication, listening, and empathy skills; these skills are essential components of patient-centered care and multidisciplimary collaboration.
